About Me

  • About Me: I married my husband, Jim, on January 4, 1985. I have six wonderful children whom I love dearly and am raising with my husband and the help of our Lord to be arrows for God's kingdom. My hobbies are scrapbooking, gardening, beading, and playing the piano. I also love to read books on history, saints of the past, the classics, and Christian living. I enjoy having music playing in our home and in the car at all times, my favorites being classical, bluegrass, hymns, and love songs in other languages. The dearest desire of my heart is to become more like my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. The older I get, the more I realize how great a debt I owe to Him and I adore Him for paying that debt for me with His own precious blood. I love the hymn that ends, "Father of Jesus, Love Divine, what rapture it will be, prostrate before Thy throne to lie, and gaze and gaze on Thee!"

Travel

  • Places I love: The Columbia Gorge, the Oregon Coast, the cabin up on Mt. Bakerthat our family goes to every year.
  • Places I've been: Whister, B.C., Yellowstone, California Redwoods and coast, Colorado Springs, Southern California, Sekui and Neah Bay, Washington to go salmon fishing every summer while I was growing up, Couerd'lane, Idaho, Mt. Rainier, many other places on road trips with our family.
  • Places to see before I die: The Church's historical sites in Scotland and England
