Won't Let You Go Unless You Bless Me
By Andree Seu
see relatedO Lord of Hosts , How Lovely
O Lord of hosts, how lovely Thy tabernacles are;
For them my heart is yearning in banishment afar.
My soul is longing, fainting, Thy sacred courts to see;
My heart and flesh are crying, O living God, for Thee.Beneath Thy care the sparrow finds place for peaceful rest;
To keep her young in safety the swallow finds a nest;
Then, Lord, my King Almighty, Thy love will shelter me;
Beside Thy holy altar my dwelling place shall be.Blest they who dwell in Zion, whose joy and strength Thou art;
Forever they will praise Thee, Thy ways are in their heart.
Though tried, their tears like showers shall fill the springs of peace,
And all the way to Zion their strength shall still increase.Psalm 84 from the Psalter Hymnal

Amen!
When you take the time to read the words to a hymn such as this one, as compared to singing them, you get a whole new appreciation for a hymn. (at least I do) What a beautiful picture these words paint of the beauty and security and blessing there is in the house of the Lord.
Lovely~ How are you, btw?
Thank you for the prayers!
Nice to see around, as I miss seeing you on Sundays. I know life is certainly sweeping you along these days.
Speaking of the dance I was wondering if Isaac will be there - I'd like to ask him to emcee again as he did last time - open in prayer do the doorprize draw etc.
You know I just read that psalm through again. That is a beautiful arrangement of the words, and very comforting. I'm sure it's only only of many that is giving you strength and peace these days.
