Finally!
Whew! This was not easy, but finally, here is the video from Cassie's dress rehearsal. This isn't the entire piece since I began recording about 2 minutes into the concerto, and, of course, it's nothing like being there in person for the real performance... Enjoy!

the kids and I were enthralled! That was fabulous!
Gaah!! She makes it look so effortless.
She's one talented young lady.
Good post Mom.
Cassie is a good pianist, isn't she?
It must have been hard to get this so well. That is amazing. I wish I could do that on the trumpet. I wish you could have gotten the whole song.

I just love watching Cassie play.
Her hands always look like they're having fun.
I wish I could have been there! That sounds fabulous!
WOW!!!
Bravo, Cassie!
I too wish that I could have experienced that "in person"!
I can't believe how relaxed I feel knowing that part of my responsibilities is under control. It's like I've gotten rid of a load mentally and can now focus on other things. I noticed it first thing this morning when it was time to make breakfast. I'd forgotten how good that feels. If you can find the time to plan even suppers I'm sure it would do the same for you.
Wow! That looks like fun!
I like how she looked at her friend right before the hard part. It's like she was saying "Here it comes!"
Gorgeous stuff. Hard work pays off doens't it?
So it can work with a big family.- you just have to have big enough pots.
I've never managed hte fresh bread part. Just muffins or biscuits or such. Yeast things don't work for me.
Amazing!
Our winter was pretty mild, but long. Not nearly as long as last year though, that was dreadful. =P
I'm so far behind on my scrapbooking i;m beginning to think it's hopeless.
It does feel good to deal with all those little hidden things that help us feel we're managing our households well Knowing they need doing can hang around like mental clutter that we need to get out of the way. My pantry is looking a little in need of reorganizing. But so far I'm not thinking about it too much except when I open hte door to get something I need. And that is never the time to deal with it.
When does Cassie come home? We go get Fraser Thursday.
Happy Mothers' Day!
WOW, what an amazing talent the Lord has blessed her with, just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
When I was homeschooling, especailly before we did correspondence courses, things got done when they got done. School work was scheduled to make sure we got through a year's work in a year. That's about it. I would try scheduling things at different times but the stress of a schedule wore me out. I worried too much that were sticking to it. So one year I got rid of them all, even the school schedule, just to break the hold they had on me. After that I would schedule or not schedule and never worry about it. These days if I don't schedule it I may never remember to do it.. And I know everything gets done in the week that needs doing so I don't overdo on any particular day. But if I don't get it done, it waits till the next week that I can.
I am not a person who has a schedule for everything and in some amazing way gets it all done. It goes against the grain to make one, and once it's made I may even forget that I have it. I have them out of sheer necessity.
The persicuted church mostly, but also war.
I could write a lot of good poems on the persicuted church, but I don't know why I like poems like that. Our pastor told us some things about what the church in rushia and afganistan are going through and it's terribly dreadful.
Thankyou. =D
