  • Napping Amidst the Wrapping

Last night I decided I had better get to work wrapping some gifts. I went into our room and closed the door when I noticed that Tom was asleep on our bed. I hated to disturb him, but figured he would probably move after I started getting things out. But he is an old kitty (at least 16 years in people years) and I guess he was just too tired to move. He's been sleeping an awful lot lately.

I had to crop this picture a bit so that certain persons wouldn't get a sneak preview of their Christmas gifts!

    Napping amongst the Wrapping

It didn't matter how long I worked or how cluttered the bed became. Tom slept on and on and on...

Isn't he sweet? He's been a good kitty for all these years and deserves some long naps!

  • Awww! Yes, very sweet!

Missed you tonight, but had a great time anyway!

  • TOM -- creative name. ::giggle::

What a woman you are -- I'm heading out today to DO some shopping... I'm a big behind. :/

Very pretty cat, I might add.... for being a Tom.

  • Tom is adorable! Makes me think of my Cooper_the_Cat. He loves to sleep on my son's bunkbed and I know he's really zonked when he rolls over onto his back.

  • Good post Mom!

I think that Tom is one of the sweetest cats ever!

Even though I have seen a lot of SWEET cats HE is the sweetest.:)

Although he is a ƒat cat. I am glad that we have such a sweet cat.

  • It'll sure be a sad day when Tom leaves us, he's been such a good kitty. Pumpkin will NEVER be able to take his place, although Pumpkin can be pretty doggone sweet sometimes too.

  • What a nice kitty cat.  We have a Felix, who is about 12  but going strong.  He does take some marathon maps though.

  • This Christmas will be my first trip to my Mom's place in Montana (and my first Christmas in 17 years) without Charlie...

  • AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

  • Your comment was very encouraging! Sorry I haven't been commenting! Still reading! Love in Christ, Deb

  • Add me to the bad mom list.  Once when the triplets were little we were driving home from church, and one of them kept whining in the very back seat of the van.  We told him to hush, and he did, but would start up again at intervals.  Finally we turned on the light to see what in the world he was fussing about.  His poor little fingers were caught in the window I had closed.  It was one of those back van window vent things, with lots of padding.  It didn't make a mark on his little fat fingers, but he sure enough was stuck.

I laugh about it now, I was appalled when I saw it.  But I will admit to laughing just now at the thought of closing a head up in the window!

  • Bucers kept it up for quite a while, and at one point got off her stool and looked behind the tv.  Maybe she thought she could get at them from that angle.

  • Lol! Your kitty is soooo cute! Everytime I see him he makes me miss my Cooper! =^.^=

I like that line of the song best because it points out that we all have a presupposition of God - "the God we want". But the reality is that our presupposition usually doesn't line up with the Truth - "the God who is".

  • awww hes adorable!!!!:):) Hope you've been doing great! Sorry im so bad at replying to things on here...im mostly on facebook:D
