  • A Fun Evening

Friday night Jim and I had the opportunity to go bowling with a great group of young people. I'm not sure who had the most fun, us or them, but a good time was had by all. There were a total of 17 of us. Wish more of you could have come. Maybe next time...

Isaac and I had a camera war while Anna cooperated and smiled for me.

There was lots of visiting going on all evening.

And we were all impressed with Jim's unique form. Hey! It works!

  • That looks hilarious! I must look pretty stupid in the rest of the approach and release too.
It really was a wonderful evening, I'm glad those "kids" don't mind having us tag along with them.

  • Looks like you had a blast!

  • Awww...that looks like fun!

  • I love bowling.  We haven't been in years and I'm not sure that our kids have EVER been.  Maybe after Christmas we'll try.  Looks like you guys had a great time.

  • Aww, I wish I could have been there!!

  • Great Post Mom!

Looks like you had a good time bowling. I wish I could have gone. What is a camera war? Is it where whoever has the most pictures wins? Good picture of dad.

  • Hmmm...
I'm almost tempted to conclude that Jim's "unique form" is the primary reason why my camera (and its pet photographer, of course) wasn't invited...
    Almost.
After all, it's not like I've ever captured anyone in any "interesting" positions or used such images for the purposes of amusement or anything, eh?

  • Oh dear. I certainly didn't mean that in any kind of "chiding" way... (Please forgive me if that's how I came across! )

...I was just looking at that great picture of Jim "in action" & chuckling at the potential "fun" that I could have with such images.

  • Oh good. As I recently commented to Tabitha; lacking eye-contact (one of the unfortunate pitfalls of this medium), sometimes I over-analyze myself here.

I'm pretty sure the "distance" is a bigger deal to you than it is to me, so don't let that bother you!

  • Yes, dad has very good form. next time we should go laser tagging!

  • I'm sure he didn't mind, he was after all a locust =J

  • Oh goodness... bowling.. I haven't been forever. I bet my kiddos would really like bowling. Great winter activity -- isn't it.

    THANKS for sharing!!

  • they're doing alright. thank you for the prayers, so much appreciated.

    bowling looks like fun!

  • Looks like a lot of fun!

  • It was fun! We'll have to do it again soon. Maybe over Christmas break I can throw some plans together.

  • haha, my tongue is sticking out in that picture

  • What fun pictures. I love that bowling pic, what form!!! I love bowling!

  • I picked them up at Value Village, hence the cheapness. They quite often have things of that kind; it's the big soup tureen that was the real find. I got a teapot too, but there aren't any pictures of it.

  • Well...my day dragged on without much change, but after a good night's sleep, I'm ready to face the world.

  • How fun!  What great bowling form!  I say as long as you stay on your feet and no gutter balls....it has to be great form!  :)
